Debbie Ayers

Debbie is Florida native, and her dad was an optometrist who practiced in downtown Lake Worth. After graduating from Wake Forest University and while working with her dad, she decided opticianry could be a fulfilling career. She went on to become a board certified licensed optician. Eventually, Debbie became an optical manager for twenty years for an ophthalmology practice. She managed the optical departments in three locations. In 2018 Debbie came out of her one year retirement to work part time at Ewing Optical. She was thrilled to return to a job she realized she missed, especially since Ewing Optical shares her philosophy of treating customers as family.
